With SSM: 13 GP, 2-1-3, -2, 20 PIM
This was a 1-1 game before Kingston scored three times in the third period. There were 14 fighting majors in this game. It took only four games with the Bulls for DeCoste to surpass his point total from his time in the Soo this season (17 games).
Oshawa Generals 2 @ Erie Otters 3

Sarnia Sting 0 @ Ottawa 67’s 7
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 0-2-2, +3, 0 PIM

C/W Alexander Killorn, HAR: 0-1-1, +1, 0 PIM, 5 SOG
Season Totals: 4 GP, 3-3-6, +1, 4 PIM
The Bobcats scored twice in the second period to break open a 1-1 game before a sellout crowd and NESN audience. Harvard did not receive any votes in the latest USCHO poll.
Western Michigan Broncos 2 @ Ohio State Buckeyes 4
D Luke Witkowski , UWM: 1-0-1, -1, 2 PIM (hooking), 2 SOG
Season Totals: 9 GP, 1-2-3, -4, 10 PIM
Witkowski’s first collegiate goal cut Ohio State’s third period lead to 3-2, but the Broncos couldn’t complete the comeback. WMU received eight votes in the latest USCHO poll, which would technically put them at 29th.

Peterborough Petes 1 @ Barrie Colts 6
LW/C Alex Hutchings, BAR: 0-0-0, -1, 2 PIM (unsportsmanlike conduct)
Season Totals: 21 GP, 10-13-23, +8, 10 PIM

C Richard Panik, WSR: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 22 GP, 4-8-12, +12, 8 PIM
G Jaroslav Janus, ERIE: Loss, 50 saves on 54 shots, *Second Star*
Season Totals: 4 GP, 3-1-0, 2.75 GAA, .924 sv%
With Norfolk (AHL): 2 GP, 0-2-0, 1.52 GAA, .939 sv%
Janus suffered his first loss of the season, though he did put forth a strong 50-save effort against the league’s top team that earned him the game’s Second Star. It’s not often you can allow four goals (one was an empty net) and see your season’s save percentage improve. Panik’s scoreless streak has reached four games.
WHL
Lethbridge Hurricanes 2 @ Medicine Hat Tigers 4
RW Carter Ashton, LET: 1-0-1, +1, 0 PIM

Windsor Spitfires 3 @ Brampton Battalion 2 (OT)
C Richard Panik, WSR: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 23 GP, 4-8-12, +11, 8 PIM
Panik’s stat line during the last five games: 0-0-0, -4, 2 PIM. One would think Windsor was struggling, but they’re 5-0 and averaging about four goals per game during that time. In fact, Windsor’s streak of games with at least a point reached 15 games with the OT win in Brampton.
Niagara IceDogs 1 @ Ottawa 67’s 2 (SO)
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 19 GP, 3-7-10, +6, 6 PIM

G Michael Zador, OSH: Loss, 22 saves on 25 shots
Season Totals: 17 GP, 7-9-1-0, 3.42 GAA, .893 sv%, 1 SO
Zador has played well lately, though his won-loss record doesn’t reflect it.
WHL

An uneventful night statistically for both Lightning prospects in this game. Neither DeCoste nor Sointu participated in the shootout, which was won by Ottawa 2-1. The 67’s have won their last three games.
Barrie Colts 6 @ Peterborough Petes 2
LW/C Alex Hutchings, BAR: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM
