In this round, we ask our voters to avoid choosing their selections based on such things such as blog graphics, blog tools, amount of updates, etc. Let's make this round specifically about writing ability.
For every member that takes the time to click these links, check these blogs out, vote in the poll and impress me with a critique on any one blog mentioned, I will be giving out Jersey Awards throughout the contest.
So let's hear what you have to say... and let's please try our best to be constructive with our words.
(This tourney encourages fans of all teams to participate and not just fans of the team in question.)

Ah I get the hang of this now!
Fear the Fin is still my favorite blog, for all the reasons I stated in round one. They just have this sense of humour that appeals to me, while still getting the important stuff across. It's the perfect mix of humour and fact. And it's still the only blog I actually lol at.
I checked out Fools and Sages, which is also actually pretty humorous, but it's still not that magical mix of funny and fact that FTF has. Although I did lol at the get well card for Vokoun.
Dudes on Hockey: very good info, told pretty straightforwardly (is that even a word??). Not much humor though.
Couch Tarts: Very down to earth, they are not spewing facts and figures at you (I'm not great at stats :D ) and I find myself identifying with the writer's opinions as they closely match my own.
Excellent information, however the delivery is a little dry.
I would say they are all great blogs in their own ways, but my vote still goes to FTF.

I am a member over at Fear The Fin and love it (OhMySwede on there as well). I use it for the Habs (Habs Eyes On The Prize) and Avs (Mile High Hockey) as well. Everyone that I've met on there doesn't judge what you say, nor have I seen any be negative about another member. I haven't been there in a while, but it's pretty much what got me into checking out other message boards/blogs. I guess I could say, it's what brought me here.
I haven't really been to the other ones, briefly checked them out just now and read the first posting on each.
I must say that on FAS, I was quite impressed with what I read. I may have to check it out more later and see what this chick is all about.
however, FTF gets my vote.

Gotta stick with FTF, as I've been a member there for a while. As for my other two, I'm a fan of Fools and Sages, and CouchTarts is pretty good as well. The others are good too, so it just comes down to personal preference and what I read regularly.

I never checked out Fear The Fin until now, and I gotta say I'm liking it! I'm not a Sharks fan, but I'll probably keep that one bookmarked. I also liked what I saw on Fools and Sages.

I'm a big fan of Dudes on Hockey. The blog is pretty good, but even better than that is their weekly podcast. I used to get it from iTunes but now it's linked into the blog.
Also like Fear the Fin. Haven't read much of the others.

I too am a huge fan of Dudes on Hockey! While the other blogs may be fun to read, the guys over at Dudes on Hockey are very insightful. And they can be funny too, just read the opening to this ! While they provide you with the usual post game recaps and predictions of what will happen the next, they also come up with interesting trade proposals that make a lot of sense for the most part (they did suggest a trade for Phaneuff :angry2: ). And still to this day, I am amazed at the foresight they had about Ferriero, saying he would be the one to watch in camp and highly ranked to make the squad. They nailed it to a T! It's a huge reason why I make it a point to check and see if they've updated on a daily basis.
I have still yet to listen to the podcast, but that's no fault of theirs. I'm totally interested to hear what they have to chat about, but just never seem to find the time.
