So, lately we have seen a lot of the farm boys play well in the Show. Everyone's been patient for Shawn Matthias, who looks just about ready to make the team's permanent roster next season...not to mention Repik has been playing decent as well. Duco has been an excellent agitator, I'd love to see him as the official team pest (although I like Nicky just fine).

But what about Ellerby? He hasn't been called up as much (Garrison has been the team's defensive call-up). How is he playing in the American League? He's a big dude and I enjoyed seeing him play in the preseason.

I've heard from some Rochester fans that he's still making big mistakes defensively. Ever since he got a hat trick a ways back, he tries to do too much offensively. Smooth skating is his biggest asset but the rest of his game is a work in progress apparently. They don't really understand why we want to see him called up so badly.

Yeah, he's still young, esp for a defenseman. I'd rather see Garrison up as a 7th D. He may not be flashy or score much, but he gets the job done...cheap.

Why haven't we tried to bring Clay Wilson up for a spin? Would he have to pass waivers?
