Within the last 25 minutes, TSN reported that the Florida Panthers have traded forward Dominic Moore to the Montreal Canadiens for a 2011 second round draft pick.
So what do you think of this transaction? Was it good the Panthers traded Moore? Or was it a bad move? Or it really won't have an impact on the team?

I don't know if it'll have much of an impact. It seems as if no one outside of Panther fans know their players anyway :bleh:
I'm kidding around with you guys  , I will say Moore is a solid player, I like the deal on both ends, Montreal could use him for a push, and the Panthers get what could be a top 40 pick.. they'll hope for a bad Canadiens team next year.

I'm pretty surprised to see Moore go, but honestly, I think we win the deal. A second round pick for Moore = win. Montreal got a second round pick for Huet last year, so that's a good deal.
Would you trade Huet for Moore? No.
I hope this shakes up the room a little.

Yeah, I dig this deal too. We have SO many guys who can take his place AND we get a 2nd rounder out of it!?!?! Word! This works for me....

The 2011 draft is supposed to be one of the weakest in history, and the extra year we have to wait is somewhat annoying. Even so, hard to argue with a second rounder for an early season UFA signing.

Wow, Toronto got a 2nd for Moore when he had much better stats. Interesting move.

Considering nobody wanted to sign this guy early on, I think that getting a second rounder for him is a plus.
