W.T.F. Off the California coast in late July and it’s frigging cold. Somebody (Rummy, Calquake?) sold me a bad bill of frigging goods with this one. A minor irritation compared to the fact that I just can’t seem to muster a Wing-related thought that doesn’t center around Willa, which is disturbing. So, we turn to trusty Google and see where it takes me. A simple news search for The Best Franchise In Hockey usually produces immediate gratification.

What a childish rant,, and then to see the comments on top of that. Doesn't even own up to the explanation that Dater had in his column of why Zetterberg wasn't there. I'm no fan of Dater, but I'll take him over this tool.

Reading blogs like that is why I love the Arena. Yeah, most people are homers for one team or another, but there isn't the outright dismissal of people who don't include their favorite player on a list like this.

The NHL and the Red Wings all list Zetterberg as a Left Wing. So if he is considered a left winger by the league and his team, why should he be on a list of the top ten centers in the league?

Also, this was ridiculously whiny, and made no sense whatsoever. So in some of their head-to-head battles Zetterberg came out on top of Crosby. So what, that doesn't make him better overall, just a bad matchup for Crosby. And which player was victorious in the 2009 Cup Finals? Its crap like this that keeps me away from most hockey blogs.

As a side note, Dater is a moron a lot of the time. His top ten defense list was atrocious, although this one was a little better.
