Please select 5 of the remaining blogs that you would like to see make the next round in our Blog-Off Tournament...

Abel To Yzerman
On The Wings
Winging It In Motown
Hockeytown Static
Nightmare On Helm Street
Snipe Snipe, Dangle Dangle
The Scrappy Octopus
The Production Line
The Triple Deke

In this round, we ask our voters to avoid choosing their selections based on such things such as blog graphics, blog tools, amount of updates, etc. Let's make this round specifically about writing ability.

For every member that takes the time to click these links, check these blogs out, vote in the poll and impress me with a critique on any one blog mentioned, I will be giving out Jersey Awards throughout the contest.

So let's hear what you have to say... and let's please try our best to be constructive with our words.

(This tourney encourages fans of all teams to participate and not just fans of the team in question.)

Snipe-Dangle - This blogger not only has in-depth knowledge of the Red Wings and the NHL in general, but she's an excellent writer. Grammatically speaking, she's spot-on! Despite her obvious intellectuality, she writes for 'everyman'. Each of us can commiserate with her frustrations as she follows her beloved Wings. Her writing is journalistically sound and very entertaining, keeping her reader 'sucked in' to each post, not wanting it to end!

Agreed. It may not be the funniest blog out there, but man that girl can write!

Nightmare on Helm Street has great write ups about each game and makes the rosters known well ahead of time. The blog would make me want to go back each time I wanted to know what was going on with the Wings. There is also a sense of humor that is going against the wings such as videos and the picture of empty seats.
