Never got to the deadlines. Put in an hours time and found 4-5 questionable things. As I said I could keep going. But I won't but another 2-3 hours in to cover the whole league's history when it is obvious the request for me to bring proof was basically turned away as well now you guys need tough love.

I've made mistakes. I've been the first to say it. I understand my deal with DA was likely not going to happen, but submitted it to see. I understand that. I respect that. What I don't understand is the other two moves. There are precedents and instances set before. Multiple teams mentioned to Pharling he needed to fix his cap. Now another team is punished because of him not adjusting on his side. Also I found multiple times where a deal was made and made either retroactive or fixed and set while teams either goofed and didn't move players or didn't have their part 100% set yet the deal was either in the system before or LS made them retroactive to the teams correcting mistakes.

But now we have the variable of the deadline... and LS is going to treat it as an absolute deadline, it is what it is... just like how my confusion over the Retirement FA pick played out... We entered this league knowing LS was going to have full veto rights and was the boss

I quickly skimmed over last years deadline, and it doesnt look like there were any last minute deals, and less activity overall, providing no precedent to provide to this situation

Keep it up guys. A big reason I gave up the LSHL was due to being labeled a cheat and the constant fighting over ever administrative decision.

We can have ourselves a great keeper league, or we can shut this thing down at the end of the season. Either way, I won't be putting up with the bullshit.

It's your call.

As Money said, I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'm coming in from more of an outside perspective and it's pretty frustrating to watch the back-and-forth bickering. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why it is going on and appreciate the attempt at productive conversation.

I minused this because of a few things:

1) I don't want to see this league fold;

2) I really wish we could ALL just have a reasonable conversation without getting all our panties in a bunch and taking things personally. Is it not possible to have a productive adult conversation where everyone gets their say and everyone knows they have been heard? Maybe I'm not seeing all of the bullshit or I'm misinterpreting peoples words, but I seriously just wish people could talk without getting their backs up and guns out before more than two words are said (to make it clear, I am talking about ALL OF US, the entire league. Can't we all just be a big happy family?);

3) I don't ever remember LS being labeled a cheat in the LSHL...and from what I've read here, I don't see anyone having labeled him as that now;

It was inferred that I wanted to change rules in the LSHL due to my team being near the bottom of the standings at the time... which was a large part of the reason I wanted to step away from that league and start a new one where all teams going in, would know that I had full reign over the decision of league matters.

And it was inferred by Ira that I do not want to allow his trade due to him being within 14 FP of my own team.

Just to let everyone know, I do not take those sorts of allegations lightly. And I will not blink an eye before shutting this league down at the season's conclusion, if that is the type of pettiness we are going to drag all of this down to.

I said that my decision was final 29 posts ago. So the longer this drags out, the more likely you will be putting your league in jeopardy.

Just one question. If you had already made up your mind, why even bother asking gms opinions or for precedents? Why even put the illusion of input out there? Your decisions are final, there is no input and thats that.

I think (and correct me if im wrong) that at the time he expected the conversation to be far more constructive than it has become

I asked for precedents on post #826. I weighed BOD's findings and declared my final decision on post #834.

Why I am continued to ask to defend that final decision over 30 posts later, is anyone's guess. But I am finding all of this very annoying.
