So claiming someone off waivers doesn't count towards are 1 FA signing?

Right. The FA signing can be used on any player aged 25 or older who is not currently owned by another team. But the waiver wire allows you to pick up players that others are discarding before they reenter the FA pool.

The Bridge City Big Cats pluck two players off of waivers today:

Alexander Urbom
Brent Johnson

In order to accomodate these players, both Oskar Osala and Richard Bachman were placed on waiver.

If interested, please send in your claims on Saturday the 14th.

The North Texas Ninjas have claimed Ryan Bourque off of waivers. Jori Lehtera was put on waivers to make room.

Lehtera's claim date will be October 18th.
