The Ducks have assigned right wing Kyle Palmieri to the Syracuse Crunch, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Palmieri, 20 (2/1/91), has played in seven games with the Ducks this season, scoring 1-1=2 points with two penalty minutes. He was recalled from Syracuse on Dec. 9. With the Crunch, he has played 18 games this season, scoring 17-9=26 points with a +15 rating and 19 penalty minutes. Palmieri currently ranks second in the AHL in goals and tied for second in game-winning goals (4). Among team leaders, he ranks first in goals and plus/minus, second in points and tied for third in power play goals (3).
