If I was Nash, I would sit and think about the team. We got 4 picks in the first 2 rounds and tons more, they'll need a leader. He could prove his loyality, fire his agent, and help rebuild the team that he "loves".

I don't know. if Nash didn't want out I don't think his agent would have said anything. He'll be gone this summer.

I don't think the CBJ will get more for him in the offseason but rather the other way. I think they will get less. There's less urgency to push for a trade and a more open market when the season is over. I can't see any team paying more than what was reportly what Howson wanted prior to the deadline (roster player(s), top prospect(2), 1st rd draft pick, etc. Nash would garner such a payback but with the limited amount of teams that were supposedly mentioned it leaves a small quantity of assets to really consider however the difference would be that more players can be considered in the offseason.

He will get more than he was offered now. What he's asking for and what he gets are 2 completely different things.

I think the lack of trades today will mean a very busy summer, should be fun.

Howson or whoever the GM will be, will have alot of work to do. We got alot of picks, we could move on in a few RFA's, I'm eager to see what happens.

I know, I was joking. Nash is reportedly was pushing for a trade today. I was just saying he should think it over, but I see him 99.9999999% for sure out of here.

Can't wait for draft day already!

Dead serious. Nail Yakupov, myself, and Jaromir Jagr in a 3 way life partnership.

I will buy a Yakupov jersey regardless of what team he goes to. Probably CBJ, thus being the 1st one I own.

Oh I'm critical cause I think they have a horrible front office. I don't like or hate the CBJ.

Howson just announced that Nash indeed asked for a trade. At a press conference. Even though he wasn't directly asked. Awkward.

I was saying that I was hearing something that Nash did, but nice to have it confirmed.

Howsen is such a douchebag.

Throw him under the bus more...

Nash is gone this summer. No doubt now.

I just hope McConnell fires Howson and hires a real GM.

I just noticed Wisniewski is on the Blue Jackets website main page advertising for the games instead of Nash. :shocking:

Random: I just noticed that Jack Johnson is from Indiana. Thats pretty cool. He may be the closest player in the NHL to be born where I was born.

Daren Dreger tweeted that the Rangers made a mammoth deal that the Preds declined, would love to know what that deal was.
