Who the hell were THOSE guys and where have they been all season?
Seriously, that was one of the best games the boys have played in forever. Grit, tenacity, pisstivity and just plain takin yer 2 points and here's a finger for ya on our way out.
Mike Smith tired of gettin run and the refs doin jack all about it as usual, comes out of net and puts the smack down, the boys back him up. Rusty gets hurt, the Captain puts the smack down. Hanzal the baby giraffe chukkin nucks? whoda thunkit? 4 fights declaring that we aint gonna take it anymore.
Playin the whole 60 minutes and walking away with Smitty's goose egg despite the nasty bloodletting nature of the game was simply amazing. Landing in berth 7 while eyeing the next rung in the ladder? Priceless LOL
