From F&I

The Devils have returned left wing Stephane Veilleux to Albany of the AHL. Veilleux made his Devils’ debut on Feb. 14 in Buffalo and did not register a point. He has been a healthy scratch for the last three games.

Veilleux’s return to Albany opens up one spot on the 23-man roster to activate either forward Ryan Carter (fractured left thumb) or defenseman Adam Larsson (bruised lower back) from injured reserve. Both practiced with the team Thursday for the first time since they sustained their respective injuries on Feb. 2 against Montreal.

And it proved to be Carter; he's playing tonight.

The rest... just like Maryanne.
