Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec has agreed to a six game stint in SM-liiga.

Pavelec will join a Pelicans team that has been struggling on both ends of the ice, winning only six games in 25 tries. They have also allowed a league high 96 goals against. Ouch! That leaves the Pelicans ranked 13th out of the 14 SM-liiga teams.

I wish they would tell us what they are getting paid, just so we can see how ludicrous it is to not be playing in the NHL for millions.

I don't how much for this stint but I think Karlsson gets each month 500,000 - 750 000€ from Jokerit.

Nice, thanks for the info.

That was nothing :) In the AHL, finnish players get lower salaries than here expection players who played in small teams. Example Milwaukee Admirals Juuso Puustinen played in HPK which has half of the team cheap players. The otherside, Jokerit who pay every player pretty much, they wan't leave to States before they are sure that they will play in the NHL whole season.
