At Munchausen's request, here's the schedule for the remainder of the World Juniors tournament. (All times Eastern.)

Quarterfinals (January 2)
Czech Republic vs. USA, 4 AM
Russia vs. Switzerland, 8 AM

Semifinals (January 3)
Canada vs. Czech/USA winner, 4 AM
Sweden vs. Russia/Swiss winner, 8 AM

Fifth Place game is on January 4 at 8 AM. And of course, the Bronze (4 AM) and Gold Medal (8 AM) games are on the 5th.

Relegation Round

January 2
Finland vs. Germany, 6 AM

January 3
Slovakia vs. Latvia, 6 AM

January 4
Germany vs. Latvia, 4 AM
Finland vs. Slovakia, 8 AM

Much obliged! Hard to follow all the division A trials. The quarters seem the most intriguing. I wonder if we have the lockout to blame for this level of hockey.

This tournament is always amazing, I enjoy watching it every year around the holidays regardless of NHL action. All the lockout has done for me is made me focus even more on it in terms of watching games where the U.S. isn't even involved. And of course it's put some talent on the ice that would normally be playing in the NHL.

Blame, credit... tomato, tomato(?). I guess the nomenclature comes from the results. I'm just wondering if guys like RNH would be available were it not for the lockout.

I meant the semis not the quarters in my previous post btw.
