It's all about the feeling. I didn't come in second place in the bookie last year by ignoring it. :renske:

This game's been over for more than 5 minutes and Adds hasn't come with his unicorn-loving Jagr love yet?

Come to think of it, i haven't seen him around for awhile. Did he go to jail for violating the restraining order Jaromir has against him?

I bet Adds is still running around downtown Dallas with a boner yelling like a banshee.

Adds has to be grinning ear to ear after Jagr has a 4 point night and is involved in every goal the stars had. What a way for Jagr to start this season as a star.

I'm REALLY surprised to see no comment by now from addulous.

The game was, as expected, incredibly sloppy for the most part, but it was just nice to see some live hockey and get a win.

I was a little disappointed with the energy of the crowd overall. AAC was pretty damn quiet for long stretches. We also continue the trend of having so many empty seats in the lower bowl, yet the game is announced as a sellout. Incredible that Dallas has that many people who can just afford to buy tickets and not give a shit if they go or not.

Have you not figured out yet that Dallas is one of the biggest fairweather cities on the planet? People won't care again until the Stars are legitimate contenders every year like we used to be...

Oh I def agree with that 110%. 90% of the lower bowl tickets are purchased by those kinds of elite rich so called 'fans' that purchase season tickets so they can just say 'I have season tickets to the Stars, Mavs, Cowboys and Rangers and it doesnt matter if I go or not b/c I have the money to throw away'. they def dont really care at all. if they did we would actually have an AAC that sounded like there was a sporting event going on rather than a librarian conference.

Those types of season ticket holders usually have a way off writing them off on their taxes as well so they really don't care.

^_^ The Coyotes actually have very little lower bowl sales for corporate type shit...hence very little corporate sponsorship. :munch_h4h: But it does make for a much more lively lower bowl because they are really 95% true hockey fans, unlike some arenas and teams that actually have corporate season ticket sales. That's why there can be 8,000 fans at a game and we can still be just as loud as some places that have over twice that much...all hardcore fans. Doesn't show up in the financials or attendance sheets though. :pinch:
