The Blackhawks’ lines rolled out at their respective times, each doing its part against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, then the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday. Some scored. Some defended. But all played good, effective minutes.

It was enough to get Marian Hossa reminiscing.

“Right now, it feels like 2010.”

The Blackhawks have been yearning to get four lines going again since that Stanley Cup-winning season. And in their first two games, they’ve been getting them. Everyone is playing, everyone is contributing in some fashion. And that four-line effort gave the Blackhawks two victories on that opening road trip out West.

Agree, good start.

I only saw half the game last night, but I was glad to see us be the aggressor. I felt like Phoenix kinda out-toughed us in the playoffs. Seemed like we were bringin' the wood yesterday. We need to play with that edge more often!

That gave me goosebumps haha. Def a really good start - not just one or two players doing all the work, seems like a full team. Check out this gem, too: Plus/Minus Rating Leaders - All Players. Hawks players holding down the top 5 spots.

Phoenix had zero toughness last night. Most likely why they lost. :munch_h4h:

Yeah buddy real loudly , " I'LL 2ND THAT " !!!

We must remember though it's game 1 and 2. It's easy to relax when things are goin well , that's when things begin not to.
