Oilers Now has confirmed, RNH is not playing tonight. They are saying short term injury and the Oilers hope he will be back Saturday night.
Mark Arcobello will get a crack between Hall and Eberle. Some promotion for that guy. Wow.

I won't be surprised when Chris VandeVelde gets the call up from OKC... We've got 4 crocked centremen. Lander, Horcoff, Belanger and RNH.
EDIT: Management obviously have faith in Nuge to play at the weekend, because Mark Arcobello was sent back down to OKC today.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is taking a myopic view of all matters pertaining to his wonky left shoulder, so as far as the Edmonton Oilers marquee centre is concerned there’s no need to consider the possibility of surgery down the road.
He said he’s been good up until he was hit in the overtime period of Monday’s game against the Vancouver Canucks. And after a few days of strengthening and conditioning, he’s ready to go again.

That may be true, but LS does have a point, the Oilers are a very young team, I got more weight and height on half their young guys, and I'm small compared to an average NHLer, so do the math when one hits the other.
