The Minnesota Wild suffered a 4-3 shootout loss on Thursday and forward Cal Clutterbuck left with an undisclosed injury, but there was something else pretty interesting about that contest.
Penguins GM Ray Shero was there while his team got ready for their game in Winnipeg on Friday. Why? The Star Tribune’s Michael Russo suggested that Pittsburgh might be interested in Devin Setoguchi and/or Pierre-Marc Bouchard.
Wild GM Chuck Fletcher and coach Mike Yeo both worked for the Penguins before coming to Minnesota and Pittsburgh is believed to be in the market for a top-six forward. Additionally, Setoguchi and Bouchard have both struggled this season, so maybe Minnesota would be willing to part with one of them in an effort to shake things up.

I'm surprised we haven't heard more speculation in regards to Kulemin going to the Pens. Not sure Toronto would give him up, but the guy played great with Malkin overseas on various occasions.
You'd have to think that if the Pens solved that single winger position, they would be unstoppable.
Setoguchi might be the guy, but I'm not sold.

It blows me away how long we have talked about how the Pens need another solid winger, yet it hasn't happened.
