Jake Voracek is coming of age.

The speedy 23-year-old winger has seven points in the two games since
he has moved to the Flyers’ top line with Claude Giroux as his center.
Voracek had his first career hat trick, including the game-winning goal
with 1:31 left, in the Flyers’ riveting 6-5 win in Pittsburgh on
Wednesday.

“I think everyone knew he has the skills to do it, and sometimes it
takes you time to realize where you get comfortable and can take
advantage of the other team,” forward Danny Briere said. “I think he’s
starting to realize that.”

I know Columbus was desperate to get over the hump, but that Carter trade set them back for years to come.
