Anyone that watches the Avs or their team play the Avs can see how bad our D is, Out of the current 7 healthy D men we are carrying I'd keep 3-5 of them. Barrie, Elliot, Hejda and maybe O'byrne. The rest need to just go. If it wasn't for Zanon's beard he'd be worse then Hunwick. Honestly though we have a terrible defense right now no one can get the puck out of the zone half the time they are out of position they aren't strong enough to knock anyone around its atrocious. Why not give a guy like Gaunce some time he is can't be worse then Zanon or Hunwick. We need some changes on the back end and bench(fire sacco hire ruff) if we are ever gonna make any nosie in this league.

I think they are actually doing the best they can within a failed defensive system.... Id like to see how this group would work under a better coach
