Not much - hoping the NHL gets a new contract and gets the season started Updated 16 Oct · 0 comments

This will be my second keeper pool. The one I am currently in is an eleven team league with 10 keepers. Each team consists of 25 players with 20 active players 12 fwds 6 def and 2 goalies with 5 reserves.

I took this team over last year and took the team from 10th place to 5th. I none of the original players I inherited left today. Going into this years 15 round draft I have accumulated 3 picks in each of the first three rounds (9 of the first 30 picks) and 12 in the first 5 rounds. Over the summer I hope to improve this further.

I enjoy the wheeling and dealing and look forward to attempting to continue pretending that I am magician Brian Burke and capable of turning sows ears into silk purses the way Burke did in stealing Phaneuf from Calgary and pawning off unmovable players like Blake and Toskla to Anaheim

I take things seriously and like the photo shows I have the grey hair to prove it. Well not a lot of hair but I still have some anyway.

Hockey watching is my passion as I never could play very well.

Building this team into a winner is my goal. Hopefully in not to many years.
